When it comes to straight forwardedness, Hugo Chavez surely does not come at the bottom of the list. In a rally in front of his supporters, the Venezuelan President explicitly expressed his desire to amend the Constitution and allow him to be the country's ruler for more than 2 terms, further extending his rule beyond 2012.
Last year, a similar bid to amend the Constitution was rejected by the Venezuelan voters.
