RCTV is now off the air for not airing Chávez's Long Speech

The Venezuelan government have ordered cable operators and providers to stop airing a popular television station - RCTV, for violating regulations which requires broadcasters to televise President Hugo Chávez's long speeches in their station entirely. There were also seven stations suspended for the same charges
In the past, 2007, the government declined the TV station to renew its licenses to broadcast on public airwaves which has forced them to move to cable broadcasts. The recent incident finally took the 57 year-old station off the air by not fully broadcasting the President's speech at a pro-government rally.
