Venezuela's most touted tourist attraction, the Angel Falls, is truly the Eighth Wonder of World and rightly so. The falls plunge in free-fall for close to a kilometre amassing to some 20 Niagaras piled atop one another.

Mines, cloud forest and waterfalls

Off on a tour of the Gran Sabana we discovered amazing sites, including gold and quartz mines, where young men worked at machines in the baking heat. Our travels took us through incredibly varied topography, through dense cloud forests with amazing waterfalls and exotic bird life.

Exxon pondering the future in Venezuela
