Quite unsurprisingly, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez expressed his support and congratulations to elected Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, despite the fact that hundreds of thousands of native Iranians went to the streets last Wednesday to protest against his claim to re-election.
