When it comes to straight forwardedness, Hugo Chavez surely does not come at the bottom of the list. In a rally in front of his supporters, the Venezuelan President explicitly expressed his desire to amend the Constitution and allow him to be the country's ruler for more than 2 terms, further extending his rule beyond 2012.Last year, a similar bid to amend the Constitution was rejected by the Venezuelan voters. Well it can be seen that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez still has a lot of influence over the Venezuelans as majority of the seats in the Sunday local elections was won by his party.However, the opposition is not without any victory as it won some important seats such as the mayor of the country's capital, Caracas.
