Where is Margarita Island? It is located just off the northern coast of Venezuela, a short flight from Caracas. There are actually three islands - Margarita, Coche, and Cubagua, with Margarita being the largest and most populous of the three. Along it's beaches are to be found some of the best windsurfing in the world. Venezuelans aren't happy about Hugo Chavez and what he's doing to Venezuela. The more socialist he makes the country, the more uneasy wealthy Venezuelans become. So they're trying to move to Florida. They've been investing in Florida for second and vacation homes, so moving there permanently sounds like a pretty logical move.Original source: USA Today.
