The Venezuelan government has already moved against the only national private TV broadcaster critical of President Hugo Chavez, Globovision, using a series of legal actions against the company and its president, Guillermo Zuloaga.
The United Nations and the Organization of American States have already expressed their worry that Venezuela is already generating an atmosphere of intimidation against entities that practice their freedom of expression.
